Timely Ross
Self Portrait as if on cover of Time

Experimenting with drawing on colored paper with pencil, crayon, chalk and whiteout, I went for a self-congratulatory look that was both unlikely and hardly appropriate, especially on presuming to grace the cover of Time Magazine. (Friends of mine from those days will tell you I was rarely on time for anything...) But it was fun. Shame I didn't date it, but it would have to be in the late '60s or very early '70s.

Anothy untypical and toothy self portrat
This was a precurser to the Time shot; maybe slightly better as a drawing if not in the squinting characterization.
My taxi driver mug shot
From approximately the same period, this was my taxi driver mug shot. What you don't see (but my passengers could) is the tiny ponytail in back.
